Christopher Mathieu
Born in Germany and grew in the Canary Islands. It arrived to Barcelona in the mid-eighties to finish interior design studies. Shortly afterward he left. to Milan and there discovered industrial design collaborating with architect Marco Zanuso jr. in the development of products for companies such as De Padova, Memphis and Driade.
With an architect father, Christophe made house lamps with origami that he had learned when working in Germany. Thirty years ago, Christophe Mathieu transitioned into architecture. from professional swimming competition to the world of design. It remains open to the unforeseen events of life.
Having settled in Barcelona for years now, he is one of Marset's veteran designers, for whom he has created a few successful products.
