Carole Baijings is considered one of the most exciting, innovative and dynamic industrial designers in Europe. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, her work in ceramics, glassware, textile arts, rugs, and furniture is distinguished by a carefully balanced use of colors, patterns, and graphic elements. The shapes and colors of the Pop of Color line are specially designed for Fatboy. "I always work as if I were in a studio, which means I am always mixing my own colours, creating my own materials and shaping my own models. This allows me to mold new silhouettes and contours," he says. Carole is known for her collaborations with Samsung, IKEA and MINI. His work has been included in prestigious institutions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum (New York), the Art Institute of Chicago and the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam).
