Alberto Meda
Graduated in mechanical engineering in 1969 at the Politecnico di Milano, he worked in the field. He has worked as an industrial designer in numerous companies and has developed his own skills. teaching and research activities at the IUAV (Venice University Institute of Architecture).
He obtained the “Compasso d'Oro” in 1989, 1994 and 2008 with the Lola, Metropoli and Mix luminaires by Luceplan.
He received the Honorary Royal Designer for Industry Award, RSA London, 2005, and the 2007 INDEX Award with Solar Bottle.
The chair "Light light", the chair "Soft light", “Longframe” of Alias and "On-Off " have been part of the design collection of the MOMA in New York since 1994, and the "Mix" of Luceplan was included. in 2008.
